The terms of use are defined below. Idealis Consulting sprl, the owner of the idealis.solutions website, reserves the right to modify these provisions. In the event of a modification, visitors will be notified through a message displayed on the homepage of the website. No compensation of any kind can be claimed by users of the site.
Any consultation or use of the idealis.solutions site implies the implicit acceptance by the user of the following terms of use:

Idealis Consulting establishes this Privacy Policy to transparently inform users of the website hosted at the following address: https://idealis.solutions (hereinafter the "Site"), about how personal data is collected and processed by Idealis Consulting.
The term "User" refers to any user, whether a natural or legal person, who visits or interacts in any way with the Site.
In this regard, Idealis Consulting determines all technical, legal, and organizational means and purposes for the processing of Users' personal data. Idealis Consulting undertakes to take all necessary measures to ensure that the processing of personal data complies with the Law of July 30, 2018, on the protection of individuals concerning the processing of personal data (hereinafter, "the Law") and the European Regulation of April 26, 2016, on the protection of personal data of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (hereinafter, the "Regulation").
Idealis Consulting is free to choose any natural or legal person who processes users' personal data at its request and on its behalf (hereinafter the "Subcontractor"). If necessary, Idealis Consulting undertakes to select a Subcontractor who provides sufficient guarantees regarding the technical and organizational security measures of the processing of personal data, in accordance with the Law and the Regulation.
2. Processing of Personal Data
The use of the Site by Users may involve the communication of personal data. The processing of this data by Idealis Consulting, as the Data Controller, or by service providers acting on behalf and for the account of Idealis Consulting, will comply with the Law and the Regulation.

By accessing and using the Site, the User declares that they have read and freely, specifically, knowingly, and unequivocally agreed to the processing of their personal data. This agreement pertains to the content of this Privacy Policy.

This consent is a necessary condition to perform certain operations on the Site or to allow the User to enter into a contractual relationship with Idealis Consulting. 6. Duration of Personal Data Retention
In accordance with Article 13 §2 of the Regulation and the Law, the Data Controller only retains personal data for a period reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed.
This duration is in any case less than: 1 year.
7. Data Recipients and Disclosure to Third Parties
Personal data may be transmitted to employees, collaborators, subcontractors, or suppliers of Idealis Consulting who provide adequate data security guarantees and collaborate with Idealis Consulting in the marketing of products or the provision of services. They act under the direct authority of Idealis Consulting and are responsible for collecting, processing, or subcontracting this data.
In any case, the data recipients and those to whom this data has been disclosed comply with the content of this Privacy Policy. Idealis Consulting ensures that they will process this data for the sole intended purposes, discreetly and securely.
In the event that data is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing or prospecting purposes, the User will be informed in advance to express their consent to the use of this personal data.
8. Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Idealis Consulting does not have a Data Protection Officer (DPO) assigned.
The role of the DPO is to ensure the proper implementation of national and supranational provisions regarding the collection and processing of personal data.
9. User Rights

a. Right of Access
In accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation, Idealis Consulting guarantees the User the right of access to their personal data. The User has the right to obtain access to this personal data, as well as the following information:
- Purposes of processing;
- Categories of personal data concerned;
- Recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients established in third countries or international organizations;
- Where possible, the envisaged duration of the personal data's storage or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that duration;
- The existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22, paragraphs 1 and 4 of the Regulation, and, at least in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject.
The Data Controller may require the payment of reasonable fees based on administrative costs for any additional copy requested by the User.
When the User makes this request electronically (via email, for example), the information is provided in a commonly used electronic format, unless the User requests otherwise.
The copy of their data will be provided to the User no later than one month after receiving the request.
b. Right to Rectification
Idealis Consulting guarantees the right to rectify and erase personal data to the User.
In accordance with Article 16 of the Regulation, incorrect, inaccurate, or irrelevant data can be corrected or erased at any time. The User first makes the necessary changes from their user/other account, unless these cannot be made independently, in which case the request can be made to Idealis Consulting.
According to Article 19 of the Regulation, the Data Controller notifies each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed of any rectification of personal data unless such communication proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The data controller provides the data subject with information about these recipients if requested.
c. Right to Erasure
The User has the right to obtain the erasure of their personal data in the cases listed in Article 17 of the Regulation.
When the Data Controller has made personal data public and is obliged to erase the data, the Data Controller, taking into account available technology and implementation costs, takes reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform other data controllers processing the personal data that the data subject has requested erasure by such controllers of any links to, or copy or replication of, those personal data.
The above paragraphs do not apply to the extent that processing is necessary:
- To exercise the right to freedom of expression and information;
- To comply with a legal obligation that requires processing by Union or Member State law to which the data controller is subject or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
- For the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
According to Article 19 of the Regulation, the Data Controller notifies each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed of any erasure of personal data or restriction of processing, unless such communication proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The data controller provides the data subject with information about these recipients if requested.
d. Right to Restriction of Processing
The User has the right to obtain the restriction of the processing of their personal data in the cases listed in Article 19 of the Regulation.
According to Article 19 of the Regulation, the Data Controller notifies each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed of any restriction of processing, unless such communication proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The data controller provides the data subject with information about these recipients if requested.
e. Right to Data Portability
According to Article 20 of the Regulation, Users have the right to receive from Idealis Consulting the personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Users have the right to transmit this data to another data controller without hindrance from Idealis Consulting in cases provided for by the Regulation.
When the User exercises their right to data portability under the preceding paragraph, they have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one data controller to another, where technically feasible.
The exercise of the right to data portability is without prejudice to the right to erasure. This right does not apply to processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the data controller.
The right to data portability does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
f. Right to Object and Automated Individual Decision-Making
The User has the right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data due to their specific situation, including the automation of data carried out by Idealis Consulting. In accordance with Article 21 of the Regulation, Idealis Consulting will no longer process personal data unless there are legitimate and compelling reasons for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the User, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
When personal data is processed for prospecting purposes, the User has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them for such prospecting purposes, including profiling to the extent related to such prospecting.
When the data subject objects to processing for prospecting purposes, the personal data is no longer processed for these purposes.
g. Right to File a Complaint

The holder of parental authority must give express consent for a minor under the age of 16 to disclose information or personal data on the Website. Idealis Consulting strongly advises persons exercising parental authority over minors to promote responsible and secure use of the Internet. The Controller cannot be held responsible for collecting and processing information and personal data of minors under 16 years of age whose consent is not effectively covered by that of their legal parents or for incorrect data - including age - entered by minors. Under no circumstances will personal data be processed by the Controller if the User specifies that they are under 16 years of age.
Idealis Consulting is not responsible for the loss, corruption, or theft of personal data caused, in particular, by the presence of viruses or as a result of cyberattacks.
12. Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is exclusively governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of the registered office of Idealis Consulting.
